Foredge and endpapers marbled. Front endpaper has large scrape. First pages have an inscription in brown ink (1874), an address of previous owner in pencil, and a Westminster Chapel Libray stamp. Body of the book in very good condition, solid and without markings. Illustrated with over 100 engravings (black & white) drawn by eminent artists and engraved by the Brothers Dalziel.
