Horne Binder - Ottawa' sticker on the inside front cover. Volume 40 - January to April, 1857 - inner hinges are cracked, some foxing to the paper, top of the spine is broken for the first inch, missing 1/2 inch at the tail of the spine. Volume 41 - May to August, 1857, back hinge cracked. Volume 43 - January to April, 1858. Volume 44 - May to August, 1858. Volume 45 - September to December, 1858 . Volume 46 - January to April, 1859. Volume 47 - May to August, 1859 . Volume 48 - September to December, 1859 - front inner hinge loose (attached by 2 cords. Volume 49 - January to April, 1860 - lower 2 inches of the spine are loose. All volumes have wear to the edges of the covers. Previous owner's name in pencil and a very faint stamp on the free endpapers. A very good copy of these scarce magazines.
