Missing the spine. 4 engravings, 4 double page maps. Volume I, Book 2: [12] from page 169 to 336; 4 engravings and two double page maps. Volume I, Book 3: [16] from 361 to 568; Austral-Asia - Island Continent; spine missing a piece, 3 engravings and 2 fold out maps. Volume I, Book 4: [12] from 569 to 744 pages; 3 engravings, 3 double page maps. Division V, Book 5, [16] from page 1 to 192; Islands in the Southern Pacific; 3 engravings, 4 double page maps (one loose); spine is loose, hinges cracked. Book 6, Division VI, [16] from page 193 to 384; 2 engravings, 4 maps; missing 2 inches on the spine, hinges cracked. Division VII, Book 7; [12] from page 1 to 208, 5 double page maps, 1 engraving. Division VIII, Book 8, British Possessions in the West Indies, and in Southern and Central America; [12] 188 pages; one engraving, 5 double page maps; spine cracked. The covers are all soiled. Brown water marks on some pages. Top and tails of the spines are all worn. The 35 hand painted maps were drawn and engraved by J. Rapkin, and hand coloured in outline, are decorated with scenes, animals, official seals, and are with ornate borders, all engraved, ( by J. Rogers or R. Wallis), after illustrations by H. Warren.
